Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Hotel Valet / Parking Attendant to join our dynamic team in Tampa, Florida. As a Valet Attendant, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service with a friendly and professional demeanor. Your primary responsibilities will include safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and providing information about the hotel and local area. A clean driving record and valid driver’s license are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, opening vehicle doors and assisting with luggage.
• Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles in designated parking areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized valet parking area.
• Inspect vehicles for any pre-existing damage upon arrival and document accurately.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with professionalism.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Assist with other guest service duties as needed to ensure a seamless experience.

Required Skills

• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred, not required).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds (luggage) and bend, stoop, and twist.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a valet, hospitality, or customer service role.
• Knowledge of the local Tampa area and attractions.
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages.
