Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Hybrid Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team in Edinburgh. This role requires a passion for social media, a deep understanding of digital trends, and an ability to translate our brand identity into engaging online content. You will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating compelling content, engaging with our community, and supporting broader marketing campaigns. This is a hybrid role, requiring two days a week in our Edinburgh office to collaborate with the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage social media content calendars across all key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Create engaging and high-quality visual and written content, including graphics, videos, and copywriting, tailored for each platform.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, community feedback, and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations.
• Engage actively with our online community, responding to comments and messages, fostering positive interactions, and managing brand reputation.
• Collaborate with marketing, brand, and PR teams to align social media strategies with overall company goals and campaigns.
• Analyze social media performance data, generating reports, and identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
• Support the planning and execution of influencer marketing initiatives.

Required Skills

• Proven experience managing social media for a brand or business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in the food & beverage, hospitality, or consumer goods industry.
• Proficiency in video editing for social media platforms.
• Familiarity with paid social media advertising campaigns.
