Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Backend Developer to join our innovative engineering team in San Francisco. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and secure backend services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code using best practices and design patterns.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions.
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go (Java preferred)
  • Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Demonstrable experience with RESTful API design and development
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture
  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous programming
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines

  • Previous experience with large-scale enterprise applications
