Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Immigration Services Analyst to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the preparation and filing of various immigration petitions and applications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex immigration matters and contribute to a team dedicated to providing top-tier service to our diverse client base. The Immigration Services Analyst will collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to manage cases from initiation through approval, requiring strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review a wide range of immigration applications and petitions, including H-1B, L-1, PERM, I-140, I-485, and other non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates, responding to inquiries, and gathering necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and case information in the firm's case management system.
- Draft and prepare supporting letters, affidavits, and other legal documents.
- Monitor case statuses and deadlines, proactively identifying potential issues and escalating as necessary.
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with case strategy development and client consultations.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within established deadlines.
- Stay informed of changes in immigration laws, regulations, and policies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Legal Studies, International Relations, Business Administration).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business immigration services, preferably within a law firm or corporate immigration department.
- Strong understanding of U.S. immigration laws and regulations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience with immigration case management software such as INSZoom or other similar platforms.
- Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi).
- Experience working with a diverse, global client base.
