Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team at a premier Hilton property in Liverpool. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, adhering to Hilton's brand standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all equipment is in excellent working condition.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash responsibly.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking bar supplies.
- Adhere to all local licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies, especially regarding responsible alcohol service.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and bartending techniques.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bartending experience in a high-volume or luxury setting.
- Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Proven ability to create new and innovative drink recipes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Basic math skills and experience with POS systems.
- Eligibility for a UK work visa and willingness to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel bar.
- Certification from a reputable bartending school or academy.
- Knowledge of local licensing laws in the UK.
- Multilingual abilities.
- Experience training junior bartenders.
