Job Description

Hilton Leeds City is seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our operations and elevate the guest experience. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in luxury hospitality management, strong financial acumen, and an unwavering commitment to service excellence. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel performance, including guest satisfaction, team member development, financial results, and community relations. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction and service quality.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial targets, including revenue growth, profit maximization, and cost control.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of hotel professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines and local regulations.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with guests, team members, suppliers, and the local community.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security standards and protocols.
  • Drive marketing and sales initiatives to enhance hotel visibility and market share.
  • Implement new operational procedures and service enhancements to continuously improve guest experiences.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years as a General Manager or Hotel Manager in a full-service hotel.
  • Demonstrated financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience managing large-scale events and conferences.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
  • Experience with Hilton brand standards and systems.
