Job Description

Best Buy Canada is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Retail Sales Professional to join our team in Gatineau. In this full-time, commission-based role, you will be a key player in our store, providing expert advice, demonstrating products, and building lasting customer relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and consultative manner.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions (e.g., electronics, services, accessories).
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products, promotions, and store services.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Actively participate in training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a retail sales environment, preferably with commission-based targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with POS systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling consumer electronics or related technology products.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is a strong asset for the Gatineau location.
- Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, or a related field.
