Job Description
Transguard Group is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Facilities Management team as Cleaners/Janitors on Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to start a career in facilities services, as we welcome applicants with no prior experience. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, common areas, restrooms, and other facilities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized cleaning supply closet.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques (training will be provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic spoken English is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
