Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced City Manager to oversee operations, strategy, and community engagement for Walmart’s presence across multiple locations within Overland Park, Kansas. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of retail operations, market trends, and community relations. The City Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, optimizing operational efficiency, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring Walmart remains a valued community partner. You will lead a team of store managers and district associates, implement corporate initiatives, and adapt strategies to meet local market demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to achieve sales targets and operational excellence across all assigned locations in Overland Park.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of store managers, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform local business strategies and adapt offerings.
