Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced AWS Specialist to join our dynamic cloud team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in various AWS services, infrastructure as code, and cloud best practices. This position offers visa sponsorship for qualified international candidates looking to establish a career in the US.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Monitor AWS environments for performance, security, and cost optimization, providing recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into application architectures.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices in AWS environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and services.
• Automate operational tasks and processes within the AWS ecosystem.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for critical AWS infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with new AWS services and features, evaluating their applicability to our infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (AWS CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing) in a cloud context.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Solid grasp of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
• Knowledge of database management in AWS (DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift).
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices.
• Experience in a consulting environment or managing multiple client projects.
• Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
