Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Remote Social Media Content Moderator to join our global team. This is a crucial role responsible for reviewing user-generated content across our platforms to ensure compliance with community standards and policies. You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, positive, and authentic online experience for all users. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content (images, videos, text, live streams) against established community guidelines and policies.
- Make accurate and consistent decisions on content violations, escalating complex cases as necessary.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and quality while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Provide feedback on content policy and tool improvements.
- Stay informed about current events and cultural trends to inform moderation decisions.
- Collaborate with team leads and other moderators to ensure consistent application of policies.
