Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in managing daily operations, including room inspections and staff assignments.
• Learn to train new housekeeping team members on company standards, safety procedures, and cleaning techniques.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, assisting with ordering and stock rotation.
• Support the supervisor in scheduling and managing staff breaks and rotations.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints related to room cleanliness or amenities.
• Ensure all public areas and guest rooms meet Marriott's rigorous cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help maintain a positive and productive work environment for the housekeeping team.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate department.
• Adhere strictly to all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency for scheduling and inventory tasks.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs during a shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel or customer service environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with housekeeping operations or cleaning practices.
