Job Description
Join Amazon as a Packaging Associate and become an integral part of our fulfillment team in Portland, OR. In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring products are correctly packed, labeled, and ready for delivery. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency to delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Safely and efficiently operate packaging equipment and tools.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packaging, reporting any issues.
- Properly label packages and prepare them for shipment, adhering to all guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure workplace.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Assist with inventory tasks, including counting, sorting, and relocating products, as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs, stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Basic understanding of English for safety instructions and effective team communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all packing and labeling processes.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for team success and operational flow.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with handheld scanning devices or basic inventory management systems.
