Job Description
Alshaya Group is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associates to join our dynamic teams across various international brands in Sharjah, UAE. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about retail and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. We value clear communication and a welcoming approach to all our customers. This is an on-site position. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified international candidates who are fluent in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with customers.
- Assist customers with product selection, provide information, and demonstrate product features effectively.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring merchandise is presented optimally.
- Replenish merchandise on shelves and assist with inventory management tasks, including stock counts and transfers.
- Actively work towards meeting and exceeding individual and team sales targets.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and operational guidelines.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and friendly approach.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic computer proficiency for POS and inventory systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as per retail operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or a customer service role.
- Knowledge of an additional language (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
