Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable General Labor – Packaging Specialists to join our dynamic team in Kitchener, Ontario. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery and equipment.
- Inspect products for quality defects and remove any non-conforming items.
- Hand pack products into boxes, crates, or other containers.
- Label, weigh, and stack finished products onto pallets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading production materials.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging environment.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
