Job Description

Hilton Leeds City is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Entry-Level Hotel Barback / Glass Collector to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no prior experience to learn the ropes of bar operations, contribute to a high-energy environment, and provide exceptional support to our experienced bar staff, ensuring our guests always have a memorable experience. You will be an integral part of maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of our bar areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist bartenders with stocking and replenishing spirits, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Ensure all bar areas are clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times.
  • Collect and wash glassware, ensuring a constant supply of clean glasses for service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar equipment and work surfaces.
  • Prepare garnishes and basic ingredients for cocktails and drinks.
  • Manage ice supply and ensure ice bins are always full.
  • Empty bins and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
  • Assist with cellar management and stock rotation as required.
  • Handle deliveries and stock checks under supervision.
  • Support the bar team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner when applicable.
