We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary School Teachers to join our vibrant team in Liverpool. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons across all key stages within your subject specialism.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning and achievement of students.
- Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment, upholding high standards of behaviour and respect.
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum, teaching materials, and assessment strategies.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, extracurricular activities, and professional development programmes.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and welfare.
- Act as a form tutor, providing pastoral care and guidance to a designated group of students.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and child protection.
Required Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent international teaching qualification.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant subject area.
- Proven experience teaching at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and 4 minimum, Key Stage 5 desirable).
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience with the UK National Curriculum.
- Specific experience teaching students with English as an additional language (EAL).
- Leadership experience within an educational setting.
- Experience mentoring student teachers or new colleagues.
