Job Description

We are urgently seeking motivated and reliable Construction General Laborers to join our dynamic team in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start immediately and contribute to significant local infrastructure projects. As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our skilled tradespeople, ensuring sites are well-maintained, and operations run smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, etc.) as needed.
• Perform site clean-up duties, including debris removal and waste disposal.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate various hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare construction sites by digging trenches, clearing areas, and setting up temporary structures.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other manual labor tasks as required by site supervisors.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous physical tasks.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Punctual and dependable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a construction or manual labor role.
• CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
• Basic knowledge of various construction tools and equipment.
• First Aid certification.
