Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead technical architecture discussions and provide guidance to development teams on best practices for cloud adoption.
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including solution designs, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Perform cloud environment assessments, identifying areas for optimization, security enhancements, and cost savings.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and applicability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in cloud deployments.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture or a similar senior technical role.
- Proven expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with relevant certifications.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, networking, and identity management.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment and engage with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multiple cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a consulting environment or client-facing roles.
