Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our team in Shreveport, LA. This is an immediate hire position with various shifts available to accommodate different schedules. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the receiving, sorting, loading, and unloading of packages within our fast-paced distribution center. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from company vehicles and trailers.
- Sort packages by destination, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Scan and track packages using handheld devices.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and tracking.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience with package handling and sorting.
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
