Job Description
We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Factory Packers to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Regina. As a Factory Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are prepared for shipment according to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and efficient packing of finished goods into appropriate containers and packaging materials.
- Inspect products for quality defects, damage, or inconsistencies before packing.
- Label packages correctly with product information, batch numbers, and shipping details.
- Operate basic packaging machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and material handling as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets and ensure smooth workflow.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
