Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Production Specialist to join our manufacturing team at our state-of-the-art facility in Munich. This on-site role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our premium vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automotive assembly, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to operational excellence. Fluency in English is required, with no German language skills necessary for this specific role, facilitating integration for international talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform assembly line tasks according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
• Conduct rigorous quality checks and inspections of components and finished products to ensure adherence to BMW's exacting specifications.
• Identify and report any production issues, defects, or equipment malfunctions promptly to team leads.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, strictly adhering to 5S principles.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and schedules.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.

Required Skills

• Proven experience of at least 2 years in an automotive manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to operate production machinery and tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor operational issues.
• Physical dexterity and stamina for tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) are mandatory.
• Basic understanding of industrial safety protocols and workplace ergonomics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational training or certification in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with robotic systems or automated production lines.
• Previous experience working in a diverse, international team environment.
