Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Louisville, Kentucky. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, optimizing logistics processes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor domestic and international freight movements, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, and import/export permits.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve any logistics-related issues.
• Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders and proactively addressing potential delays.
• Optimize transportation routes and methods to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and generate reports on key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international shipping regulations and company policies.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain operations.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CTL).
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in additional languages relevant to global trade.
• Experience specifically with large-scale parcel delivery or freight operations.
