Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of physical infrastructure and maintenance operations for our Banner Health facilities in Casper, Wyoming. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, functional, and compliant environment for patients, staff, and visitors, contributing directly to our mission of providing excellent healthcare services. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong technical background and exceptional organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of facility maintenance, including repairs, renovations, and improvements.
• Manage departmental budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation effectively.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all building systems.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including those specific to healthcare facilities.
• Supervise and mentor facilities staff, including technicians and administrative personnel.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and implement effective solutions.
• Plan, execute, and monitor facility upgrade projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in facilities management, with a preference for experience in a healthcare or large institutional setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Proficiency in budget management, cost control, and vendor negotiation.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with facility management software (CMMS).
• Eligibility for visa sponsorship is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facilities Management Professional (FMP).
• Experience with regulatory bodies and standards pertinent to healthcare facilities (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA).
• Project management experience with facility construction or renovation projects.
