Join the Amazon team as a Warehouse Receiver / Stocker! In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, sorting, and stocking incoming products, ensuring the efficient flow of inventory within our state-of-the-art fulfillment center. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments safely and efficiently.
- Verify product quantities against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Inspect products for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues promptly.
- Sort and organize inventory in designated storage locations.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet jacks, if certified, or train to do so.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures, loud noises, and frequently changing tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning systems.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
