Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of our facility operations in Augusta, GA. This critical role is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for our employees and operations. The Facilities Manager will manage a team, oversee vendor relationships, and implement best practices in facility management, contributing directly to our operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all building operations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards.
• Develop and implement facility maintenance programs, including preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and infrastructure.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of facility staff and external contractors, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
• Prepare and manage the facilities budget, monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Oversee space planning and utilization, supporting office relocations, expansions, and renovations.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and manage building security systems and protocols.
• Respond to and resolve emergency situations related to facility operations.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling programs, promoting environmental sustainability.

Required Skills

• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in facilities management, with a strong emphasis on managing large-scale operations.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial oversight.
• Strong project management skills, capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to problem-solve effectively under pressure.
• Familiarity with facility management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP).
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and energy management systems.
• Experience working with diverse teams and international professionals.
