Job Description
Join Lufthansa as an Airport Customer Service Agent and be the face of our premium service at Frankfurt Airport. In this vital role, you will assist passengers with a wide range of needs, ensuring their journey is smooth and enjoyable. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with excellent English communication skills to provide an exceptional experience for our international clientele. While the role is based in Germany, there is no requirement to speak German for this specific position.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist passengers at check-in counters, gates, and other airport touchpoints.
- Handle ticketing, baggage claims, and rebooking procedures with efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide information on flight schedules, gate changes, and general airport services.
- Resolve passenger inquiries and complaints professionally and empathetically.
- Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, elderly travelers, and passengers with disabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations.
- Collaborate with ground staff, cabin crew, and other airport personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage stressful situations with a calm and positive demeanor.
- Uphold Lufthansa's service standards and brand image at all times.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- High degree of patience and empathy.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for passenger processing and information retrieval.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the aviation, hospitality, or tourism industry.
- Familiarity with airport operations and procedures.
- Knowledge of an additional international language is a plus (but not required for this role).
- Ability to lift and move luggage up to 23 kg.
