Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of Intel’s cutting-edge products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, as well as analyzing test results to identify and resolve defects. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex semiconductor products and systems.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and generate comprehensive test reports.
- Identify, document, and track software and hardware defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, validation, and manufacturing to ensure product quality.
- Participate in test strategy discussions and provide input on product requirements from a testability perspective.
- Perform root cause analysis of failures and provide detailed debug information.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product validation, test engineering, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) and/or programming languages (e.g., C++, C#).
- Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits, microprocessors, and computer architecture.
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with test methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with semiconductor device testing and characterization.
- Knowledge of industry-standard interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB, DDR).
- Experience with automated test equipment (ATE).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of statistical process control and data analysis techniques.
- Prior experience in a global team environment.
