Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in Clarendon, Arlington, VA. Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload of patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient assessments, goals, and evidence-based practices.
• Utilize a wide range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
• Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plans, and strategies for self-management and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities and contribute to the improvement of physiotherapy services.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, students, or support workers as required.
• Ensure a safe and clean clinical environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Required Skills

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted Physiotherapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Virginia.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physiotherapist.
• Proven experience in assessing and treating a broad range of conditions across different patient populations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop effective treatment strategies.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Commitment to patient safety and adherence to professional ethical standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialization or certification in a specific area of physiotherapy (e.g., orthopedics, neurology, sports medicine).
• Experience working in an acute care hospital or large outpatient rehabilitation center.
• Experience with international patient populations or diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Fluency in a second language relevant to the local community (e.g., Spanish).
