Job Description
Amazon is seeking enthusiastic and reliable General Labor Warehouse Associates to join our dynamic team in Salt Lake City, UT. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our fulfillment process, handling a variety of tasks to ensure products are accurately sorted, packed, and shipped to customers. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process new inventory and materials.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Scan and sort packages to their designated locations within the warehouse.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following company procedures.
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures at all times to ensure personal and team well-being.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 49 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of inventory and warehouse procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar industrial environment.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment and basic inventory management systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs require.
