Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX. This role is crucial in optimizing our extensive supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. The successful candidate will be instrumental in analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing strategies to enhance our supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement in cost, efficiency, and service levels.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, warehousing, and transportation.
• Forecast demand and manage inventory to prevent stockouts and reduce excess inventory.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, sales) and external partners (suppliers, carriers) to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on supply chain performance.
• Utilize supply chain software and tools to model scenarios, analyze data, and provide recommendations.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier issues, transportation delays, and market fluctuations.
• Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain processes and systems.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in supply chain management.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, inventory management, or logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven experience with supply chain planning and execution systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
