Job Description

Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our bar staff as Bartenders. Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and making recommendations.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards and recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, counters, and equipment.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using a POS system.
- Monitor customer intake to ensure responsible alcohol service and adhere to all relevant regulations.
- Restock bar inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
- Assist in opening and closing duties of the bar, including cleaning and setup/teardown.
Required Skills
- Strong desire to learn and develop bartending skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role (e.g., server, host, barista).
- Basic knowledge or interest in craft beer, spirits, and cocktails.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
