Job Description

Transguard Group is actively seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Guards to become a vital part of our esteemed team in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai. As a Security Guard, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and security of premises, valuable assets, and personnel, thereby fostering a secure and reassuring environment for our diverse clientele and their stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and managing the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other authorized persons to safeguard against unauthorized access and theft.
• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas, meticulously inspecting for any signs of intrusion, potential hazards, or security breaches, and ensuring all doors, windows, and gates are securely locked.
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate any disturbances or suspicious activities, taking appropriate action to resolve situations in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare accurate and detailed daily reports on all activities, incidents, and irregularities, including equipment or property damage, theft occurrences, presence of unauthorized individuals, and any unusual events.
• Operate and monitor security equipment, including CCTV systems, metal detectors, and other screening devices, to detect and prevent the passage of prohibited articles into restricted zones.
• Provide assistance to clients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and courtesy, offering directions or support as needed while maintaining a visible security presence.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations, coordinating with emergency services such as police or fire departments, and implementing evacuation procedures when necessary.

Required Skills

• Excellent observational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to articulate situations clearly and concisely
• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-pressure or emergency situations
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures, or a willingness to undergo training
• Demonstrated physical fitness, stamina, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required by operational needs
• Completion of high school education or equivalent qualification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior professional experience in a security-related role, law enforcement, or military service
• Possession of a valid SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) certification for Dubai
• Familiarity with local security regulations, codes, and best practices in the UAE
• Proficiency in additional languages such as Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, or Tagalog to communicate effectively with a diverse population
