Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our innovative team in Munich. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and operations.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development processes and product capabilities.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure software solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) or back-end (e.g., Spring Boot, Node.js, Django, Flask) frameworks.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience in industrial automation, energy management, or smart infrastructure domains.
• Proficiency in German is a plus.
