Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Associates to join our team in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for retail and excellent English communication skills. As a Retail Associate, you will be the face of Carrefour, providing exceptional service, assisting customers, and contributing to the overall success of our store operations. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products and making purchasing decisions.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Process returns, exchanges, and customer complaints professionally and in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and tagging merchandise.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the store premises, contributing to a pleasant shopping environment.
- Stay informed about current promotions, products, and services to provide accurate information to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high operational standards.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Proven customer service experience in a retail environment (1 year minimum)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic retail setting
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with POS systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a Diploma in Retail Management or a related field is a plus
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- Knowledge of an additional language (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog)
- Familiarity with Carrefour products and services
