Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic English-speaking Airport Customer Service Representatives to join our team at Munich Airport. In this vital role, you will be the face of Lufthansa, providing exceptional service to passengers from around the globe. Your primary focus will be assisting travelers with check-in, boarding, rebooking, and general inquiries, ensuring a smooth and pleasant journey. Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting passengers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Handling check-in procedures, including bag drop and seat assignments, using airline systems.
- Assisting passengers with boarding, gate changes, and flight connections.
- Managing passenger queries, complaints, and special requests effectively and efficiently.
- Providing accurate information on flight schedules, baggage policies, and airport facilities.
- Assisting passengers with rebooking and ticketing issues, especially during operational disruptions.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and security regulations and procedures.
- Collaborating with airline and airport personnel to ensure seamless operations.
- Operating airline specific computer systems and equipment accurately.
Required Skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) to a professional working level.
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality (1+ year) in a demanding environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer focus.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced airport environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights, as per operational needs.
- Valid work permit for Germany (if applicable).
