Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and reliable Production Workers to join our team in Foothills Industrial Park, Calgary. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for immediate employment with a stable, industry-leading company. As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing and processing operations, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and safely. We have various shifts available to accommodate different schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production processes and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Load and unload materials and products from production lines.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all sanitation guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and palletizing finished goods.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Flexibility to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse setting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certification or experience operating other heavy machinery.
- Knowledge of food safety principles (HACCP, GMP) if applicable to the specific production line.
