Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of goods for shipment and internal distribution. The Material Packer will be responsible for packaging various materials according to specifications, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This is an on-site position requiring immediate availability for a full-time schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently pack materials into appropriate containers or onto pallets, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Verify product counts, item numbers, and other details against packing slips and order forms.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment as needed (certification preferred, training provided).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct quality checks on packed materials to ensure they meet specifications and are free from damage.
• Assist with receiving and stocking inventory, placing items in designated storage areas.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily packing and shipping goals.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
• Basic math and literacy skills for reading labels and completing forms.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
