Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Kotlin code for Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product management, design, QA) to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Stay up-to-date with new mobile technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin for Android development.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Knowledge of design patterns, MVVM, MVP, MVI, and clean architecture principles.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) and source control tools (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Published at least one original Android app in the Google Play Store.
• Knowledge of other mobile platforms or cross-platform development frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and techniques (Unit, Integration, UI testing).
