Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team in Wichita, KS. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated legal professional to contribute to a wide range of complex corporate legal matters within a leading global conglomerate. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, ensure compliance with national and international laws, and support strategic business initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and commercial contracts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, agreements, and policies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations and transactions.
• Conduct legal research and provide opinions on various legal issues affecting the company.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various business units and departments.
• Oversee litigation and dispute resolution matters as required.
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal legal training programs and best practices.

Required Skills

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state (Kansas bar eligibility preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, either in-house or at a reputable law firm.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate governance, commercial contracts, and M&A.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understanding of international business law and cross-border transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with environmental, regulatory, or intellectual property law.
• Prior experience working within a large multinational corporation.
• Proficiency in additional languages relevant to global business operations.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
