Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Counterintelligence Agent to join our dedicated team in Augusta, GA. In this critical role, you will be responsible for protecting national security interests by detecting, deterring, and neutralizing foreign intelligence threats. This position requires a keen analytical mind, exceptional investigative skills, and a deep understanding of intelligence operations and security protocols. You will work within a dynamic environment, collaborating with various government agencies and internal teams to safeguard sensitive information, technologies, and personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive counterintelligence investigations to identify and mitigate threats.
- Analyze intelligence data and produce detailed reports and briefings on findings.
- Develop and implement defensive counterintelligence measures and strategies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and intelligence community partners on joint operations.
- Provide expert advice and training on counterintelligence awareness and practices.
- Monitor and assess foreign intelligence activities targeting U.S. interests.
- Maintain strict adherence to all security regulations and ethical guidelines.
- Utilize advanced technical tools and methodologies for data collection and analysis.
Required Skills
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph (or ability to obtain one).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in counterintelligence, intelligence analysis, or a related field.
- Proven investigative and analytical skills with an ability to connect disparate data points.
- Strong understanding of foreign intelligence services, their methods, and objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports and briefings.
- Proficiency in intelligence community databases and analytical tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated discretion, integrity, and ethical conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in National Security, Intelligence Studies, International Relations, or a related discipline.
- Experience with advanced persistent threat (APT) analysis.
- Familiarity with cyber counterintelligence principles and practices.
- Certifications in relevant intelligence or security disciplines.
- Proficiency in a foreign language relevant to intelligence operations.
