Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our Advisory team in Denver, CO. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries, helping them strengthen their governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and implementing effective GRC strategies. This position includes visa sponsorship for qualified international candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of GRC programs and frameworks.
• Conduct risk assessments and compliance reviews to identify potential vulnerabilities and non-compliance issues.
• Analyze regulatory requirements and internal policies to ensure operational alignment.
• Support the design and implementation of internal controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Prepare detailed reports on compliance status, risk posture, and control effectiveness for management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal, and Operations, to integrate GRC principles.
• Participate in client engagements, providing expert advice and solutions on GRC matters.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to anticipate potential impacts on clients' compliance landscape.
• Assist in the preparation for external audits and regulatory examinations.
• Facilitate GRC training and awareness programs for client staff.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in GRC, compliance, risk management, or internal audit.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in GRC tools and technologies (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, Archer, MetricStream).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, PMP, or equivalent.
• Experience working in a consulting environment or with multiple clients.
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience with data analytics and reporting for GRC purposes.
• Familiarity with cloud security and compliance standards (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
