Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team in Munich, Germany. This is a unique opportunity for an English-speaking professional to thrive in an international environment, as proficiency in German is NOT required for this role. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing logistics operations, ensuring efficient flow of goods, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our supply chain processes for various clients. You will be instrumental in coordinating with international partners, overseeing freight movements, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues or delays that may arise with proactive communication.
• Collaborate with international carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain execution.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and company policies.
• Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, costs, and efficiency metrics.
• Participate in supply chain projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational excellence.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and service providers, addressing their needs and inquiries professionally.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or freight forwarding.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken), with no German language skills required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Understanding of international shipping regulations and customs processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with a global logistics provider.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
• Experience working with diverse international teams.
