Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our Risk Advisory team in Calgary. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries, helping them navigate complex regulatory landscapes, manage risks effectively, and enhance their governance frameworks. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to critical projects, providing insights and solutions that drive business resilience and compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of GRC programs and frameworks.
- Conduct compliance assessments, risk assessments, and control evaluations for clients.
- Monitor regulatory changes and interpret their impact on client operations.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on GRC findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with client teams to implement remediation plans and process improvements.
- Support the integration of GRC technologies and solutions.
- Provide guidance and training on compliance best practices.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to proposal development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) roles.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, industry-specific regulations).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in GRC tools and platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CGRC, CIPP, CRISC, CISA, or similar.
- Experience with specific GRC software (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream).
- Master's degree or advanced professional qualification.
- Previous consulting experience.
- Familiarity with Canadian regulatory frameworks.
