Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our team in Austin, TX. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our Governance, Risk, and Compliance framework. You will work closely with various business units to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. Key Responsibilities
- Perform GRC assessments and analyze control effectiveness across various business processes.
- Monitor regulatory changes and interpret their impact on existing policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of GRC policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential compliance vulnerabilities.
- Prepare detailed reports on GRC posture, findings, and recommendations for management.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure GRC requirements are integrated into system development and operations.
- Facilitate GRC training and awareness programs for employees.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) within financial services.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, GLBA, FINRA, SEC).
- Experience with GRC tools and platforms (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRISC, CISA).
- Experience with data privacy regulations and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Master's degree in a related discipline.
- Project management experience.
