Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is crucial for maintaining our robust governance, risk, and compliance framework within a complex financial services environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring compliance risks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of GRC policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and internal control evaluations to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure continuous compliance and adapt internal frameworks accordingly.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on compliance status, risk exposure, and control effectiveness for management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with various business units to embed GRC principles into daily operations and new product initiatives.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of GRC processes.
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of compliance issues and breaches.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related topics and internal policies.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or audit role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of GRC principles, methodologies, and frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).
- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA, OCC, FCPA) and data privacy laws.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and GRC software platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex compliance concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
- Experience with global regulatory environments and international compliance standards.
- Previous experience at a large, global financial institution.
- Demonstrated experience with visa sponsorship processes for professional roles.
