Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our esteemed Risk Advisory team in Chicago. This role is crucial in helping our clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes, manage enterprise risks, and ensure robust governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GRC principles, regulatory compliance, and a passion for safeguarding organizational integrity. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of GRC programs and frameworks for clients.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify control deficiencies, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes to ensure client compliance with applicable laws and industry standards.
- Support the integration of GRC tools and technologies to streamline compliance processes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance status, risk posture, and control effectiveness for various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and operations, to address GRC-related issues.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, articulating complex GRC concepts clearly and concisely.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in GRC, compliance, risk management, or internal audit.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, financial regulations).
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing control matrices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as GRCP, CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT.
- Experience with GRC software platforms (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream).
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
