Join the iconic Hudson’s Bay team as a Seasonal Retail Associate in our vibrant Calgary location! We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to help us deliver an outstanding shopping experience during our busy periods. This temporary role offers an excellent opportunity to gain retail experience, work with a supportive team, and contribute to the success of a beloved Canadian brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
- Assist with merchandise replenishment, visual merchandising, and inventory management
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including security protocols
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and operational goals
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is an asset, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
