Job Description
Join the Amazon team as a Warehouse Associate! We’re looking for motivated individuals to help us deliver smiles to customers every day. In this fast-paced, physical role, you’ll be an essential part of our operations, handling a variety of tasks including receiving, stowing, picking, and packing products. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. This is an on-site position with various shifts available to accommodate your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive products, including unloading shipments and scanning items into inventory.
- Stow products in designated locations using handheld devices.
- Pick customer orders from shelves and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack items securely into boxes, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or order pickers, after certification, if applicable.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Work effectively in a team environment to meet daily production goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer navigation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT).
