Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our dynamic team in Calgary. This role is critical in helping our clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes, manage risks, and ensure adherence to governance frameworks. The successful candidate will contribute to developing, implementing, and monitoring GRC programs, providing essential support to our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of GRC frameworks, policies, and procedures for clients.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify compliance gaps, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on client operations.
- Support the development and delivery of GRC training and awareness programs.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on GRC status, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams and client personnel to ensure integrated risk management approaches.
- Participate in GRC technology solution implementation and optimization projects.
- Perform compliance testing and validation activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) within a professional services or corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, PCI DSS) and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in GRC tools and platforms (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, Archer, MetricStream).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC, GRCP).
- Experience with data privacy regulations and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Previous experience working with diverse international clients.
